Coloration: Unlike the typical reddish-brown coat of the regular blesbuck, the blesbuck white has predominantly white fur, sometimes with faint shades of tan or light brown. The distinct white blaze on the face, for which blesbucks are known, remains prominent against this lighter background.

Features: Just like their standard counterparts, blesbuck whites possess the characteristic facial markings, including the dark brown stripe across the eyes and nose, as well as the white blaze extending from the forehead to the muzzle.

Body Structure: They have the same body structure as regular blesbucks, with a robust build, slightly arched back, and long legs adapted for swift movement across the grasslands and savannas where they typically reside.

Horns: Both males and females of the blesbuck white variation possess horns, which are similar in shape to those of the standard blesbuck, curving backward and then upward. The horns may vary in color but often match the lighter tones of the coat.

Behavior and Habitat: Blesbuck whites exhibit similar behavior and habitat preferences as their standard counterparts. They are social animals, forming herds and grazing on grasses in open grasslands and savannas.

Conservation Status: Blesbuck whites are not a separate subspecies but rather a color morph of the blesbuck species. As such, their conservation status aligns with that of the overall blesbuck population, currently listed as of “Least Concern” on the IUCN Red List.
