The Common Reedbuck (Redunca arundinum) is a medium-sized antelope species found in various habitats across sub-Saharan Africa, including grasslands, wetlands, and savannas. They are characterized by their reddish-brown fur, white underparts, and distinctive white throat patch. Common Reedbucks are primarily grazers, feeding on grasses and occasionally browsing on leaves and herbs.

They are known for their agility and can reach speeds of up to 55 kilometers per hour (34 miles per hour) when evading predators. Although they face threats from habitat loss and hunting, conservation efforts have helped maintain their populations in many protected areas.
